"News & Announcements from the Community" is intended to be an organized community "blog" which enables all registered users to submit and self approve for posting news and announcements on a variety of topics relevant to daily life in Fauquier County, Virginia. That feature is unmoderated, thus registered users have the flexible ability to post news and announcements relative to the topic. LORD FAIRFAX COMMUNITY TRAIL OPEN TO THE PUBLIC
WARRENTON, VA, 24, September, 2009, The Fauquier County Parks and Recreation Department is proud to announce that the Lord Fairfax Community Trail is nearing the end of construction and will be
open for public use and enjoyment in early October 2009. The community is encouraged to visit this newest section of trail in the department’s goal of completing the connections plan project.
Future plans for the trail include a connection through nearby land to join the Lord Fairfax Trail to the existing Warrenton Branch Greenway, helping to create a walkable community between Old Town

We have launched our Fauquier FAQ - a feature designed to enable users to ask and answer questions, to share their knowledge of Fauquier, Virginia, and to create a knowledge base of frequently asked questions about Fauquier, Virginia.
